A new player joins with a realistic-looking name, but it’s clearly meant to mock a real-world tragedy or group. They claim it’s “just dark humor.” As staff, how do you handle this and why? First I would talk to the player in private. Tell them that their name is not okay even if the name seems real it is still not okay to make fun of things that have happened or groups of people
During a robbery scene, a player messages another outside the game to warn them what’s about to happen. The scene continues normally. As staff reviewing the report, what concerns you most and how do you handle it? If the evidence shows that someone is breaking the rules with Out Of Character warnings or meta communication I will make sure the servers rules are enforced consistently The punishment will depend on how bad it's if it has happened before it could be a warning or something serious if it was done on purpose or if the person has done it many times before
A player walks away from an active RP situation without saying anything and later claims, “My character wouldn’t care.” How do you judge whether this was valid character choice or roleplay avoidance? I’d think about the situation as a whole not the reason given. Saying "My character wouldn’t care" can be okay in roleplay sometimes.. It can also be used to get out of dealing with the results having a disagreement or talking to others what matters is if what happened makes sense for the character and if it was still respectful to the people they are roleplaying with
You notice a rule issue developing within a scene. How would you go about what your seeing in the scene? First I will observe carefully before stepping. I will make sure I fully understand what is happening and whether it is actually a rule break or just confusion or miscommunication the staff should avoid interrupting scenes When it comes to the staff they should be careful not to interrupt scenes The staff and their actions are very important in this situation. The staff must be careful and think before they do something
A player repeatedly uses mechanics to gain advantages but technically follows the scripts correctly. How do you decide whether this is clever gameplay or abuse that hurts roleplay? If something is legal but it always leads to results or situations where people do not really interact with each other or where there are no consequences then it is not smart gameplay anymore It becomes a problem with roleplay integrity this is because roleplay servers need everyone to feel like things are fair not just that people are finding ways to exploit the rules roleplay servers depend on fairness not just people using mechanical loopholes to get what they want
Two players give completely different versions of a scene. Both seem confident and neither has video. How do you investigate and make a fair decision as staff? In disputes where there is no evidence fairness comes from doing an analysis and being consistent with the logs and rules. It is not, about deciding who sounds more believable
You notice the same player appears in multiple reports—not always guilty, but always involved in messy situations. At what point does this become a concern, and how should staff address it? A player getting reported a lot is not about being guilty. It is about if this player always causes problems and makes the role play environment bad. The staff should step in help the player change their behavior early on this will stop the player from getting punished over again and it will also stop the community from getting frustrated with the player
A player takes a huge risk in a dangerous situation and loses their character as a result. They complain that it was unfair. How do you explain consequences while still being respectful and professional? When the staff talk to people they are very respectful. This does not mean they make things easier for people who do something it means the staff explain things clearly they say that what happens to someone is because of the choices they made when they played the game
A civilian resists police in a situation that realistically would not justify extreme actions. How do you judge whether the player acted realistically or just wanted an outcome? Realism in police and civilian role play is not about people doing what you want them to do away or not fighting back at all it is about people reacting in a way that makes sense police and civilian role play is about having reasons for what your character does and things getting worse in a way that seems real
A player roleplays severe injuries during a scene but is completely fine an hour later with no explanation. How should staff handle situations like this to maintain consistency? Injury Role Play is not something that happens for a moment it is a part of the characters state that should be consistent all the time the people in charge should make sure that injuries have effects that make sense and last for a while unless the character does something in the story to make the injury better
You make a ruling that a player strongly disagrees with, but it’s fair and consistent. They continue arguing. How do you handle this while maintaining authority and professionalism? When the staff make a decision it is final after they have looked at it carefully the staff should handle things in a way this means they should clearly say the case is closed
Some one in the discord makes a ticket regarding applications, how would you respond to their ticket? First would tell them not to open a ticket about staff apps they would looked and close it
