Roleplay Guide

/me Command Guide

The /me command is used to describe actions your character performs that cannot be shown through in-game animations. It can also display your character’s emotions, expressions, or small details (such as clothing or body language).

When using /me:

  • Must be written in third person
  • Begins with a lowercase letter
  • Ends with a period
  • Uses proper grammar
  • Must be detailed and descriptive
  • No profanity allowed
You do not need to include your character’s name, as it is automatically added.

Proper /me Examples

  • /me adjusts his/her jacket sleeves before folding his/her arms across the chest.
  • /me kneels down to tie his/her shoelaces tightly.
  • /me picks up a glass of water from the counter and takes a slow sip.
  • /me flips open a small notebook, jotting down a few quick notes with a pen.
  • /me rubs the back of his/her neck nervously while glancing around the room.

Incorrect vs. Correct Usage

❌ Incorrect: /me gives phone
✅ Correct: /me reaches into his/her pocket, pulling out the phone and offering it to the officer.

❌ Incorrect: /me pushes person
✅ Correct: /me places his/her hand against the individual’s shoulder and attempts to push them back.

❌ Incorrect: /me OPENS DOOR
✅ Correct: /me grips the doorknob, twisting it slowly before pulling the door open.

❌ Incorrect: /me pulls gun and shoots
✅ Correct: /me slides his/her hand inside the jacket, wrapping fingers around the handle of the pistol.

❌ Incorrect: /me IS UNCONSCIOUS
✅ Correct: /me collapses onto the ground, lying still without movement.

Powergaming Rule

Powergaming (forcing an outcome without giving others a chance to respond) is strictly prohibited.

❌ Example:
/me shoves the man to the ground, breaking his arm instantly.

Response Rule

  • Players must respond to roleplay actions
  • Wait 30–45 seconds before prompting
  • If no response after reasonable time, the action may be considered successful

/do Command Guide

The /do command is used to:

  • Describe the environment
  • Provide scene details
  • Ask or answer roleplay questions

/do Rules

  • Must be truthful at all times
  • Written in third person
  • Begins with a capital letter
  • No all caps
  • No profanity
  • Not used for actions (use /me for actions)

Proper /do Examples

  • /do Would the man’s clothes appear to be covered in dirt?
  • /do Yes, his shirt and pants would have noticeable stains.
  • /do Sarah would be wearing a silver necklace with a small pendant.
  • /do Is the bag within his/her reach?
  • /do What items would be found inside the pockets?
  • /do Would the individual resist being restrained?
  • /do A strong scent of cigarette smoke would linger on the female’s clothing.

Incorrect /do Examples

❌ /do HITS MAN.
❌ /do grabs wallet from pocket.
❌ /do Tries opening the car door, would it be unlocked?

✅ Correct Flow:
/me tries the door handle.
/do Would the door be unlocked?

Important Notes

  • You must respond to /do questions
  • Failure to respond within 3–5 minutes is considered RP avoidance
  • Taking items requires /do interaction and consent, unless:
    • The player is unconscious
    • The player is held at gunpoint
  • Looting dead bodies is strictly prohibited

EMS Call Guide (/911ems)

When calling EMS, always use /911ems and provide:

  • Your character’s full name
  • Exact location
  • Clear description of the situation

Good Examples

  • /911ems Hello, my name is (first & last). There is an unconscious male near the basketball courts at Davis Park. He has a faint pulse, please send medical assistance.
  • /911ems Hello, my name is (first & last). I’m at the grocery store parking lot in Little Village. A female has collapsed and is unresponsive with a weak pulse. Requesting EMS.

Bad Examples

❌ /911ems My homie down, hurry.
❌ /911ems I think I’m dead, need help.
❌ /911ems Come quick, someone hurt.

Police Call Guide (/911)

When contacting police, your call must be:

  • Detailed and realistic
  • Include full name
  • Include exact location
  • Provide a clear description of the situation

Valid Examples

  • /911 My name is (first & last). I’m outside the gas station on Grove Street. There are four men arguing aggressively near the entrance. Two are wearing black hoodies and two in red jackets. I overheard one mention a weapon. Please send an officer.
  • /911 My name is (first & last). I’m at Carson Ave and Strawberry Blvd. I was involved in a car accident and the other driver refuses to exchange information. I do not need EMS, but I need police assistance.

Invalid Examples

❌ /911 There’s guys yelling with guns.
❌ /911 I crashed my car.
❌ /911 Help I’m getting robbed.

Local Caller Usage

If your character cannot identify themselves (e.g., unconscious or severely injured), you may use a Local Caller report.

Example

/911 (Local Caller) I was walking past the park near Innocence Blvd and saw a female lying on the grass. She appears unresponsive. Could someone be sent to check on her condition?

Final Notes

  • Always prioritize realism and fairness
  • Do not rush or force roleplay outcomes
  • Quality roleplay = better experiences for everyone
