A new player joins with a realistic-looking name, but it’s clearly meant to mock a real-world tragedy or group. They claim it’s “just dark humor.” As staff, how do you handle this and why? Kick them and ask them professionally to change their name to something that's not dealing with a real-world tragedy/group.

During a robbery scene, a player messages another outside the game to warn them what’s about to happen. The scene continues normally. As staff reviewing the report, what concerns you most and how do you handle it? My biggest concern is the out of character information (metagaming), speaking to both players regarding the situation giving them a warning, and if it continues it will be a temporary ban no questions asked.

A player walks away from an active RP situation without saying anything and later claims, “My character wouldn’t care.” How do you judge whether this was valid character choice or roleplay avoidance? The person would have to RP it out in the active situation that their character doesn't care for it to be a valid character choice rather than just randomly walking away, it'll be roleplaying avoidance.

You notice a rule issue developing within a scene. How would you go about what your seeing in the scene? I can't do the report myself because I am basically a part of the scene because I was watching, I will give the report to another admin to handle it and give that admin the information and clip of what took place.

A player repeatedly uses mechanics to gain advantages but technically follows the scripts correctly. How do you decide whether this is clever gameplay or abuse that hurts roleplay? Overall, it would not be fair for other players, no matter how they use or gain them it abuses and hurt the roleplay, the player should be banned and PC checked.

Two players give completely different versions of a scene. Both seem confident and neither has video. How do you investigate and make a fair decision as staff? Both of them will get a warning about the situation, considering they both don't have a clip of it and inform them the next time this same situation happens they will need to be prepared to have proof on both ends.

You notice the same player appears in multiple reports—not always guilty, but always involved in messy situations. At what point does this become a concern, and how should staff address it? A player appearing multiple times in reports can be a sign that they have a habit of escalating situations, the player is now creating unhealthy situations, as a staff a verbal discussion with a formal warning and if the player continues after that warning, them being removed will be the next step.

A player takes a huge risk in a dangerous situation and loses their character as a result. They complain that it was unfair. How do you explain consequences while still being respectful and professional? I would say professionally that it is part of serious roleplay, them putting their characters life in danger situation the most realistically thing that will happen is that they will lose their character as a result of that risk and that is their fault, explain to them that we had nothing to do with their actions and if it turns into a debate they can submit a ticket to a higher up.

A civilian resists police in a situation that realistically would not justify extreme actions. How do you judge whether the player acted realistically or just wanted an outcome? If the civilian RP the situation realistically with the police officer the scene will be acted out correctly, now if the police reports that the civilian didn't RP it out correctly then serious actions will come into play on our end.

A player roleplays severe injuries during a scene but is completely fine an hour later with no explanation. How should staff handle situations like this to maintain consistency? That's fail RP, the person would have to act out RP severe injuries and get the proper RP treatment. As staff member, I would question that player about their treatment asking if they received proper treatment and possibly get proof of that treatment.

You make a ruling that a player strongly disagrees with, but it’s fair and consistent. They continue arguing. How do you handle this while maintaining authority and professionalism? Acknowledge their disagreement while avoiding any debating with the player, giving them the proper information on where they can go if they would like to talk to anyone higher than me before ending the situation.

Some one in the discord makes a ticket regarding applications, how would you respond to their ticket? Responding professionally, pointing them to the correct section (which is the link to the city website), walking them through the process if needed.
