Have you ever been staff in a serious server? yes

All staff are required to be apart of a department. Please provide a department that you wish to be apart of upcoming joining the team. In my opinion, I am fit for any department of the staff team, I’m great with assisting with tickets, great with helping with ingame reports, and I am also good at situating refunds. Any department you guys wish to put me in I will be able to prevail.

Please provide a example of a proper /me & /do. The use of /me and /do should be used as much as possible to help aid your scenarios.

/do K.Covington will be visibly aggravated in the face.

/me has a ten inch penis.

Please list your time zone and your availability. CST and i can play both morings and night

A new player joins with a realistic-looking name, but it’s clearly meant to mock a real-world tragedy or group. They claim it’s “just dark humor.” As staff, how do you handle this and why? I would ask the player to change the name because it is disrespectful and can upset other people in the server. Even if they call it “dark humor,” staff should keep the community friendly and welcoming for everyone. If they refuse to change it, I would follow server rules and give the proper punishment.

During a robbery scene, a player messages another outside the game to warn them what’s about to happen. The scene continues normally. As staff reviewing the report, what concerns you most and how do you handle it? What concerns me the most is the part where the player messaged another player outside of the game to warn them what is about to happen inside of roleplay. The player doing this has still fully affected the scene due to the fact that metagaming was put into play which made the scene at advantage for the player who was robbed. This breaches a rule which will lead into punishment.

A player walks away from an active RP situation without saying anything and later claims, “My character wouldn’t care.” How do you judge whether this was valid character choice or roleplay avoidance? I would look at the full situation to see if the player had a real roleplay reason to leave or if they were just trying to avoid the scene. If their actions made sense for their character and they still roleplayed properly, it could be valid. But if they walked away to avoid consequences or ruin the RP for others, I would treat it as roleplay avoidance and handle it based on server rules.

You notice a rule issue developing within a scene. How would you go about what your seeing in the scene? I would watch the scene carefully first so I understand exactly what is happening before stepping in. If the rule issue keeps getting worse, I would calmly stop the situation and explain the rule to the players involved. After that, I would handle any warnings or punishments fairly based on the server rules.

A player repeatedly uses mechanics to gain advantages but technically follows the scripts correctly. How do you decide whether this is clever gameplay or abuse that hurts roleplay? I would look at whether the player is helping the roleplay or only using mechanics to win unfairly. Even if the scripts allow it, it can still be abuse if it ruins scenes or gives an unfair advantage over others. I would review the situation, talk to the player if needed, and follow server rules to keep the roleplay fair and fun for everyone.

Two players give completely different versions of a scene. Both seem confident and neither has video. How do you investigate and make a fair decision as staff? I would listen to both players carefully and compare their stories to see if anything matches or does not make sense. I would also check any server logs, chat messages, or ask other people who were there if possible. If there is not enough proof to fully punish someone, I would give a warning or remind both players about the rules instead of making an unfair decision.

You notice the same player appears in multiple reports—not always guilty, but always involved in messy situations. At what point does this become a concern, and how should staff address it? It becomes a concern when the same player is constantly involved in problems because it can hurt the server’s roleplay and create drama for others. I would review the reports carefully to look for patterns in their behavior and speak with the player about the issues. If the behavior keeps happening, staff should give stronger punishments based on the server rules to prevent more problems.

A player takes a huge risk in a dangerous situation and loses their character as a result. They complain that it was unfair. How do you explain consequences while still being respectful and professional? I would calmly explain that actions in roleplay have consequences, especially during dangerous situations. I would stay respectful and let the player share their side, but also remind them that risky choices can lead to bad outcomes for their character. As staff, it is important to be fair and professional while making sure everyone follows the same rules.

A civilian resists police in a situation that realistically would not justify extreme actions. How do you judge whether the player acted realistically or just wanted an outcome? I would look at the full situation to see if the player’s actions made sense for the roleplay or if they were only trying to force a certain outcome. If the resistance was unrealistic and made the scene unfair, then it could be considered poor roleplay. I would explain the issue respectfully, review the server rules with them, and handle it fairly based on what happened.

A player roleplays severe injuries during a scene but is completely fine an hour later with no explanation. How should staff handle situations like this to maintain consistency? Staff should make sure players keep their roleplay consistent and realistic after serious injuries. I would talk to the player and remind them that major injuries should still affect their character later unless there is a good roleplay reason or medical treatment explained in-game. If the problem keeps happening, I would follow server rules and give warnings or punishments to protect the quality of roleplay.

You make a ruling that a player strongly disagrees with, but it’s fair and consistent. They continue arguing. How do you handle this while maintaining authority and professionalism? I would stay calm and professional while explaining the reason for my decision clearly and respectfully. I would let the player speak, but if they keep arguing after the final decision is made, I would remind them to respect staff decisions and server rules. If the behavior continues, I would handle it with the proper warning or punishment to keep the situation under control.

Some one in the discord makes a ticket regarding applications, how would you respond to their ticket? I would respond politely, answer their questions about the application, and help them understand what they need to do next.
